2012

This is it. The year two-thousand and twelve is almost over, leaving in its wake hopes, dreams, failures, successes, lost loves, and everything in between. It has been a memorable year, one that I will never forget. This was an Olympic year, held in good ole London, my home country of America coming away with the most gold metals. My country reelected our president Barack Obama to another term in office.  Joseph Kony and his terrible ideas were broadcast around the country, in hopes of stopping him. We lost an infamous man called Neil Armstrong, and gained many more people, some who will go on to do great things. NASA landed the curiosity rover on Mars, and Psy's "Gangnam Style" rocked the world. The conflicts in the Middle East raged on, powers rising and falling. Natural disasters ran wild, including Hurricane Sandy and the floods in Manila. The apocalypse was laughed off as nonsense, Disney bought Lucas film, the Hunger Games brought in many new fans, and Felix Baumgartner free fell from the edge of space. What does this all mean? This was an unforgettable year.

In this upcoming year, let's make it better. Let's jump higher, yell louder, run faster, throw harder, and dream bigger. Let's make 2013 even more memorable than 2012. Let's do this.
