I'm going to try writing in my blog again today. Why am I doing this, and what will I write about? Well, it's simple, really. I stayed home from school today while I was fighting one of the worst headaches in my entire life. Throughout the course of this headache, I have eaten little, and even though I'm feeling much better now, I'm still feeling too weak to get out of bed. So, I will type up a post because that takes very little energy. The problem is, I don't know what I will discuss. Don't get mad at me if this wanders a bit. You don't have to read it. Though it would be nice if you did. I quite like it when you read my posts. Really, I do. I like to know that people care about me and what I have to say! You make my day when you read this! Go you!
Ahem, anyways, cats. I like cats. I even love them. Cats are great. Over my life, I have had four cats, though currently I only have one. She's great, most of the time. This is boring. Why am I talking about cats?
Sorry, I'll spare you from any more of that. Wow, this is turning out to be rather lame. I don't have any ideas.
Potatoes!
Purple potatoes! You know, the wild ones that roam in herds across the countryside. However, some of them are taken into captivity and are milked and bred, and those turn green. And sometimes tests are performed on them, so they turn blue. Tragic, really.
Have you ever smelt the chicken flower? Beautiful thing. Smells like chicken.
Okay, I'll stop now. I'll leave you alone.

Well, that wandered a bit...
ReplyDeleteI thought it quite funny and even amazing because it required all manner of punctuation. It is there that I would have truly shown weakness and you are able to shine with a quality that is becoming less and less important in "modern" writing.

Well...that was...an experience. I did enjoy the part about cats, however! I also liked the part about potatoes, and yes, I have smelled the chicken flower. I honestly didn't expect it to smell like chicken. So, after reading this, I thought, 'now that summer is here, maybe she'll have something more....definitive...to talk about!?' I do look forward to reading what you have to say next! I'm sure the summer has many more adventures worthy enough for you to write about! Well, look at me drone on! You're the writer, not me, so I will just wait here patiently for your next post!
